Summer Camp Policies

Tuition Payments

Full tuition payment for July and August are due no later than June 1st. We do not accept weekly or daily payments.

Late Pick-Up

Children picked up after 4:00pm will be charged $1 for every minute late, payable within 24 hours.

Illness

Children with a fever over 100°F may not remain at camp. If a child becomes ill while at camp, they must be picked up immediately.

Credits are only issued for absences of a full week and require a doctor’s note. Partial week absences are not eligible for credit under any circumstances. After an absence of three consecutive days due to illness, a child may return to camp only with a doctor’s note.

Medical Forms

All children must have a current, within the past year, physical and immunization form on file prior to the first day of the program.

At the time of registration, counselors must be informed, of any special medical conditions, allergies and medications the child may have.

Camp T-Shirt

Must be worn everyday!

Behaviors

The Following Behaviors will not be tolerated:

  • Aggressive Behavior: Physical aggression, such as hitting or biting, towards other children or staff members.

  • Bullying: Verbal, physical, or emotional intimidation or harassment of others.

  • Destruction of Property: Damage or vandalism of program materials, equipment, or facilities.

  • Inappropriate Language: Use of offensive or inappropriate language or gestures.

  • Disregard for Rules: Consistent failure to follow program rules and instructions.

  • Safety Violations: Actions that compromise the safety and well-being of oneself or others.

  • Fighting: Engaging in physical altercations with other children.

  • Disrespectful Behavior: Showing disrespect towards staff members, peers, or program rules.

Violating the above rules will result in suspension or permanent program dismissal. Depending on the offense, unsafe conduct towards one self or anyone else, can result in immediate dismissal. We encourage parents to assist the counselors in safety rules enforcement and in promoting healthy social qualities like sharing and being sensitive to the feelings of others.  Expelling a child is a difficult and painful experience for everyone involved. We resort to this extreme measure only after working with the parent and it becomes clear that the child needs and expertise beyond the scope of our program.
